Privacy policy

This page explains how Vaiz Review handles the data of people who read articles on this site.

What we collect

This site is a static editorial publication. We do not require accounts, we do not run a comments system, and we do not collect names or email addresses unless a reader chooses to email us directly. The server records standard web request logs — IP address, user agent, referrer, requested URL — for short-term security and debugging purposes.

Cookies

We do not set marketing or tracking cookies. A preview cookie is used during editorial review to control access to unpublished pages; that cookie is never written for ordinary readers.

If analytics are enabled in the future (for example Plausible, GA4, or similar), this page will be updated to disclose what is set and why. Today, no third-party analytics scripts run on the rendered pages.

Outbound links

This site links to Vaiz and to other vendor pages. Some of those links may carry affiliate parameters that identify Vaiz Review as the referring publication. Affiliate links are disclosed on the partner disclosure page. We do not pass reader-identifying data to any partner.

Data retention

Standard web server logs are kept for a short rolling window (typically 14 days) for security and debugging. We do not maintain long-term reader profiles. Editorial correspondence sent to [email protected] is retained for as long as needed to resolve the matter.

Children

This site is written for an adult professional audience evaluating workplace software. It is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Updates

If our practices change — for example if analytics are added, a newsletter is launched, or a contact form is introduced — this page will be updated and the publication date below will move. Material changes will be flagged on the front page for a reasonable window.
